Identity

The Creative Infinite Energy Laboratory (CIEL) within the Department of Chemistry Education at Kyungpook National University is dedicated to the design and development of innovative materials for advanced energy storage and conversion applications. Our primary objective is to contribute to the evolution of energy storage technologies, facilitating the creation of smaller, more efficient batteries and enhancing the utilization of sustainable energy sources. Our research focuses on comprehending the intricacies of reaction and degradation mechanisms to enable rational material characterization and design. To achieve this, we employ a multidisciplinary approach, studying crystals and electronic structures of the materials, and emphasizing the seamless integration of computational analyses with cutting-edge experimental techniques.
